Qi — also spelled “chi” — refers to a vital life-force or energy that, according to traditional Chinese philosophy, flows through all living beings. It is sometimes described as breath, air or the animating force of life; when qi flows freely and balanced, it’s believed to support health, vitality, and harmony.
Do I need experience to try Qi Gong?
No — Qi Gong is gentle, slow, and accessible for every age and ability level.
Is Qi Gong good for seniors or people with limited mobility?
Yes. It is widely recommended for healthy aging, balance, joint mobility, and nervous system support.
What should I bring to a beach class?
Comfortable clothing and water. Many people practice barefoot on the sand, but feel free to bring a mat or towel if that makes you more comfortable.
Can tourists join classes?
Absolutely—drop-ins are welcome at all public classes!
Do you offer indoor or weather backup locations?
Yes - as much as we can. Weather updates are posted to our Facebook page, and classes may shift to park or shaded areas as needed.
